Something for Everyone At The Dance Center!


The Xtreme Dance Center (XDC) offers all styles of dance for all ages and for all levels; beginners-thru- advanced levels and for ages 2-thru-Adult. Below are a brief description and a list of classes that are offered at the Center.
All Classes are open to the general public.
Classes subject to change or cancel pending enrollment. Check website for updated schedule.

Hip Hop:

Extensive warm-ups, strengthening and stretching are all a part of this class as Combinations are taught comparable to what you would see on MTV’s ABDC or Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. Dancers are challenged to be and become better the more intermediate and advanced classes that they take.

Jazz/Lyrical:

All Styles and Techniques are taught in the jazz classes. Start with a technical warm-up followed by across the floor combinations and a challenging floor combination towards the end of class.

Ballet:

Basic to advanced ballet technique is taught in this class with ballet bar or floor bar, across the floor and center combinations.

Tap:

Basic to advanced tap technique is taught in this class; with rhythmic and detailed combinations given to challenge every dancer.

Turns, Tricks and Jumps:

Enhance your training with this class that pushes you as you work on a wide variety of Turns, Tricks and Jumps.

Break Dancing:

Basic to advanced break dancing footwork and style along with head stands, helicopters, coffee grinders, etc… and many more fun break dancing tricks and moves.

Adult Hip Hop:

Begin with stretch and strengthening followed by learning a basic but challenging hip hop combination.

Contemporary Ballet:

Basic to advanced ballet technique contemporary style is taught in this class with ballet bar or floor bar, across the floor and center combinations.

  • Forward/Backward Rolls-Bridges-Backbends-Backbend Kick Overs

  • Tripods/Head Stand-Cartwheels (Rt./Lft.)

Intermediate Skills
  • Back Extension Rolls-Flip Flops-Back/Front Tucks
  • Round Offs-Aerial Cartwheels

Advanced Skills
  • Any sequence of combining skills!

Belly Dancing:

Learn about the history of Belly Dancing along with basic Belly Dancing movements.

Yoga:

This class will help you work on your flexibility, physical fitness and most importantly find peace and relaxation within yourself.

Pilates:

Join in the intense workout of Pilates for beginners to advanced levels.

Amped:

Hip Hop Cardio workout class. The workout that feels like a party.

Junior Program Descriptions


Creative Movement:

For the younger student who loves to move to whatever song is put on the radio. This class works off your childs love for dance as they have fun in learning different styles of dance.

Tap/Ballet Combo:

Learn basic technique in Ballet and Tap as they enhance their love for dance. Start with a stretch and strengthening. With ballet they will work with the bar and various ballet basic technical moves. With Tap they will learn the basic shuffle and steps of tap.

Ballet/Jazz Combo:

Learn basic technique in Ballet and Jazz as they enhance their love for dance. Start with a stretch and strengthening. With ballet they will work with the bar and various ballet basic technical moves. With Jazz they will learn the basic movements and turns.

Jazz/Tap Combo:

Learn basic technique in Tap and Jazz as they enhance their love for dance. Start with a stretch and strengthening. With Jazz they will learn the basic movements and turns. With Tap they will learn the basic shuffle and steps of tap.

Ballet/Jazz/Tap Combo:

Learn basic technique in Ballet and Jazz as they enhance their love for dance. Start with a stretch and strengthening. With ballet they will work with the bar and various ballet basic technical moves. With Jazz they will learn the basic movements and turns. With Tap they will learn the basic shuffle and steps of tap.

Princess Ballerina:

The theme of the class is Disney Princesses as you learn basic ballet technique.

Prima Ballerina:

Work on the basics of Ballet Technique as this class will challenge them with technical combinations.

Tapping Toes:

Introduces Tap to the younger student who loves to make noise with their tap shoes. This class introduces the basic steps of tap dancing.
